1. Rice terraced fields at the Northern Highland:
Rice is an important part in Vietnamese' life, Vietnam is a agricultural country with about seven out of ten people live in the rural area making there living by growing rice. Due to the the different weather, rice crops are different from the areas in Vietnam; there are three crops a year in the South, two in the North and only one crop of rice in Vietnam Northern Highland. There are no better time than later September for any body want to visit and take photos rice terraced fields in Vietnam. Here are some highlights; we recommend if you could travel by motorbikes:
* Tu Le, Yen Bai: located at the foot of Khau Pha pass - one of the most imposing pass in Vietnam.
* Mu Cang Chai, Yen Bai: it's about 40 km from Tu Le on the way to Sapa.
* Hoang Su Phi, Ha Giang: is a rural district of Ha Giang province in the northernest region of Vietnam. The district capital lies at Vinh Quang.
Hoang Su Phi is famous for its rice fields terraces, especially on the
road between Hoang Su Phi and Xin Man, where those terraces are
classified as a National Heritage by the Vietnamese Government.
2. Ninh Binh: is about 100 km south of Hanoi, to be a new tourist destination with such beautiful attractions: Tam Coc Bich Dong, Trang An, Hoa Lu ancient citadel, Hang Mua pagoda.
3. Dalat: located in the central highland, is about 300 km from Sai Gon. Although it's still the rainy season in this city but this is not a matter for those loving adventure, there many experience companies offer you outdoor activities such as Canyoning, mountain biking, or trekking.
4. Mui Ne: famous for beautiful beach, enormous sand dunes and peaceful resorts, Mui Ne offers a relaxed and welcome change of pace. Surfing is also a reason attracts many travellers to come.
5. Mekong Delta: the area well-know as "rice basket" in Vietnam with the production could feed the entire country. The flow in the Mekong river begins to rise around the end of May and reaches its highest point in September. The highlight thing to do in the areas is taking a boat trip to floating market or through small canals to see the locals; we recommend taking the small boat to get to the insights.
